Jekids have always wanted to go to Johor Bahru tgt at least once, nt sure the reason, except chunwee say the seafood nice n some say the movie tix cheap. In my lazy opinion, doesn't really seem to be worth the effort. Planned very long ordy. Keep saying 'nxt nxt week', 'nxt nxt week'. But nowadays everybody go differnt uni, all got slightly different lives ordy. Getting harder to accomodate every1's schedules. Bz-est guy = zt, with his hall nonsense and 1 nt. Says he's planning to stay for 4 yrs. Really abnormal and atrocious. Owell, watever. So zc finally created the fb event and we finally decided the date.
But alas, cockup happened again. Cb zt duno chut wat pattern to zc. Says he's not coming. Walaneh say so long ordy still can pua stunt. I oso lazy ask wat happened. Yt fking late again. 20mins from cck to kranji? Smlj max. Tututu, queue n queue, reached malaysia w/o much trouble xcept much hassle n delays.
Wow, the place, mega crowded. Cant really tell who msia who sg lang. Much kampong feel? A bit luo wu. But otherwise everything seems the same. Went to watch johnny english movie. Mr bean funny man. Bought tix and went around the city square kia kia kua kua. The food court is for fools says zc. Yt keep kp malaysia stuff lol. the food is nt clean and cinema seats need to be checked in case of pins n needles. Tried some hard pancake/cookie thing? The shaved ice there is mega cheap! so's the popcorn. Land of cheapness, paradise for cheapos. No lie. Thru miraculous contact thru zc's amazing always-hang sony ericsson phone, Zt managed to come down! Proceeded to take cab down to the seafood place cw mentioned.
Heres where the mini fiasco started. Apparently the innocent-looking blue cars there at the malaysia are the money eaters, the equivalent of the expensive taxis here at Singapore. But the interior doesnt seem to be any better! tt aside, because our group consisted of 5 person at tt time, as usual we tried to find nice uncle who will be willing enough to let us all squeeze on board.
Asks with our bestest polite faces( but actually very beng faces) : "Uncle, can or nt?"
First uncle of imba-cheat-money-blue-car: "Nope."
Second uncle of imba-cheat-money-blue-car: "...Nope."
So unwittingly we boarded on 2 taxis to proceed to location. Inside the taxi was when cw realised the blue car is the waste money 1. But ordy too late. Shang le zei chuan ordy bo lor zhao. Another cockup here. Cw was the one who know whrs the place, but zt-zc-yt gang was in the car in front of us. End up me n cw alight, got down, and they were no whr in sight. So being logical n calm beings we thought they should have proceeded in front of us and the 2 of us decided to walk down the road. Cw kept kp-ing them stupid while worrying about them going somewhr too far tho. If tt happens, we are really screwed. No signal in malaysia man. But alas, god love stupid kids, we managed to find them somewhr down the stretch.
Apparently the taxi uncle wanted to bring them somewhr else! Luckily they said they wanted to alight themselves. Much kaopeis about how scheming the uncle was by trying to rao lu and cheating their money. Zc zt duo thn made further claims that the 2 uncles that drove us respectively knew each other, and, according to the rest of jekids 'cept me, said they purposely splitted us up juz so both of them get to earn. I was shocked. Nt my fault for thinking good of ppl generally man. Owell. At least we manged to arrive w/o much risk.
And so we ate. Nt much memories of the food tho. Except its cheap! like all things in malaysia. Pretty nice to eat on some street side place. Some pretty interesting street those-sell-things-sell-tissure-ppl tho! The bird is really imba. The sound fking real. Zt said smth about bringing them back to Singapore. lol pretty cool
Boarded taxis back. This time we were careful to pick out the red taxis to board tho. Yi hui sheng, er hui shou. Same arrangement, me n cw in 1, zt-zc-yt in another. Was a pleasant enough journey for me. Got to c cw chatting up the taxi uncle about whr to buy clothes lol. Fare spent was half the price of the blue car, so all was well, for me n cw anw. But lol, whn we meet up with the rest at city square...
Zt: " wah eh, this time like much cheaper only, $12 only! The taxi driver this time like nice only"
(Orginal blue car fare was $16 btw)
Zc: "Yalo yalo! The young man nice guy sia! meter was $16 sia, he charge us cheaper somemore. *Good deal* good deal*."

Me:" Huh? me and cw's cab fare only $8 leh? how come urs more expensive?"

And thn cw went on to inform us about the different system of charging of cab fares in Malaysia! Got differentce beter meter system and fixed system or some shit. In short the trio actually got scammed LOL.
Zt:" FUCK CB. THE YOUNG MAN CHEAT OUR MONEY MAX LA WTF"
Zc:"IMBA HE STILL ACT NICE GAVE THE RELUCTANT FACE WHEN CHARGING US 12BUCKS."

And so we finally got to come back to singapore. I really like singapore better. Juz seems like a better place. Will we go back again? Or is it another nvr-again thing. One thing s' for sure-- we definitely wont be going again in a hurry!
